Towing

Check your contract before you arrange a tow.

Benefits, limits, providers, and prior authorization depend on your contract. Use the roadside contact shown in your contract and confirm before arranging a tow.

If you are on the roadside now

  1. 01

    Get somewhere safe first.

Off the travel lane, hazards on. Everything below can wait two minutes.

  2. 02

Find the roadside contact in your contract.

Your contract or its welcome materials say whether roadside help is included and whom to call. It may not be the dealership you bought the vehicle from, or the claims line below.

  3. 03

Tell them where you want the vehicle taken.

You can name a service center from this directory. Deciding before the truck arrives saves a second tow you would pay for.

  4. 04

Ask what the tow covers before it starts.

Ask whether the tow is included, any distance or cost limits, and whether it must be arranged through them. Your contract decides; we cannot.

ServicedCar.com does not dispatch tow trucks and takes no fee from anyone who does. If you already know where the vehicle is going, find a service center and give the driver its address.
